If this is easy in VBA, then it going to be easy in macro code. About the only MAJOR issue I see is we don't have the performance to calculate the distance on the fly and as an expression.
However, if you main business location is known, then calculation and displaying distance to any zip code in your database MOST certainly should work well. And if we looking for distance between two zips, then again I see little issue. However, displaying columns of data with a given starting zip and between those records will take expression processing that will slow this process down.
Your MAIN issue and challenge is without code reading skill VBA, or otherwise , you unlikely to have the skills to convert such code to macro. Even more worse we don't even have an Access VBA working example here.
Best bet is to get some test code working in VBA, and see if you like the results. Remember, you can create VBA in that web application for testing - so add the VBA code, get it working in the client side. Once you do that, then come back with he working code - I will then and I stress ONLY then, convert the code to macro for you.
The only trick here is WHEN or where such calculations are to be done. I don't think on the fly calculations are practical here. So this is a mount Everest of a difference to the above first two example.
The first two examples are most easy in Access web. However calling some code to calculate distance between two points is no more difficult in VBA then it is in macro code.
My only point is that the "difficult" 3rd above example is not much practical in web based.
