Dulini River Lodge is the oasis in the middle of a 10,ha concession in the world-renowned, game-rich Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A small and intimate lodge, it is a favourite among travellers for its classic luxury and style, fantastic service, cuisine and incredible game-viewing. Close encounters are guaranteed, and the animals are not threatened by our presence thanks to our sound conservation management policies.

Expect one-of-a-kind photographic opportunities of The Big Five, and much more — including over bird species. A treat for keen birders! Guided walks with an armed ranger may also be arranged. Walks are usually arranged in the early hours during the summer months, when temperatures are more moderate. Being on foot affords a unique and altogether different view of the bush. Stayed for 3 nights and Arathusa met our expectations perfectly.

Stayed in Standard Villa and this was large, comfortable and located overlooking the Hippos. Meals were of a very high standard,well presented offering 3 excellent meals per day served in the open sided Dining Building with each menu introduced enthusiastically by the Head Chef. Our Ranger Phil and Tracker Rofis were great and the bush trek with Phil was very enjoyable, informative and not to be missed. As I say this was my first Safari Experience and I consider that anyone booking Arathusa will not be dissapointed.

Arathusa was fantastic. The main living area is intended for comfort. Whether quietly reflecting on the view, reading a good book, or enjoying conversation with friends or fellow safari goers, the warmth and charm of the lodge environment is the foundation of the Arathusa safari experience. There are twelve Suites , eight of which face the waterhole in front of the lodge, and four of which are remotely located within the bush a short distance from the lodge. We also offer a comprehensive spa and wellness experience.
