Windows vista irq assignments

I also tried downgrading the BIOS to revision , but the update utilities don't allow for downflashing so I'm stuck on the newest. Have you asked them if these modems are compatible with Vista. What Operating System is on the Notebook. My laptop is running Vista Home Premium bit. The modem runs flawlessly.

When I select the Firepod in Windows Sound, the sound usually works well for a while after a fresh bootup, but then after a few hours give or take a few hours , it drops out.
